A concept for the future of portable music players

The Idea

Portable speakers were everywhere, but they all looked and worked the same. I set out to design a system that could split apart, reconfigure, and rethink what portable music could be.

The Creation

I explored multiple concepts through sketching before landing on a triangular form. The design locks into one unit yet separates cleanly into individual pieces.

The Tools

I began with hand sketches to explore different configurations. Once the form was set, I modeled it in Fusion 360 and rendered the final design in KeyShot.

The Final Product

A speaker that works as one or splits into parts. It shows how portable sound can move beyond standard forms toward something more flexible and adaptable.
